Sales Manager (Defence Sector) 

📍 MSM Export | International Role 

MSM Export is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a proven background in the defence industry. This role requires strong expertise in international trade, defence tenders, and complex B2B negotiations in highly regulated environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across international markets  

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with government and commercial partners  

  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage contract closure processes  

  • Identify opportunities within public tenders and defence procurement programs  

  • Prepare commercial offers, pricing calculations, and contractual documentation  

  • Coordinate cross-functional cooperation with production, logistics, legal, compliance, and technical teams  

  • Ensure full compliance with export regulations, licensing requirements, sanctions frameworks, and defence trade legislation  

  • Manage business cases from initial opportunity identification through delivery and post-project evaluation  

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical developments influencing defence demand  

  • Represent the company at international exhibitions, conferences, and strategic business meetings  

  • Deliver regular market intelligence and business performance reporting to senior management  

Required Experience 

  • Proven sales experience within the defence industry is mandatory  

  • Experience with international tenders and defence procurement programs is an advantage 

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills 

  • Ability to build relationships with government and commercial decision-makers 

  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen 

  • High level of discretion and professional integrity 

  • Willingness to travel internationally 

Language Requirements 

  • English – advanced level (C1) 

  • Additional language skills are considered as a strong advantage
